As fish diseases tend to be highly contagious, acting on the first warning signals with prompt diagnosis and treatment can greatly change the prognosis for aquarium inhabitants.
The wide range action of eSHa 2000 makes it virtually impossible to choose the wrong treatment, targeting primary and secondary fungal infections, bacterial skin infections and parasites which affect the skin and the gills. eSHA 2000 also protects against protozoan parasites, ulcers, wounds, Dropsy, Shimmying Disease, fin rot and Neon Tetra Disease.
eSHa 2000 is very well tolerated by fish, plants and biological filter organisms, with the added advantage of assisting in the healing of wounds on fish and protecting the skin layer. After treating an illness, eSHa Optima, a blend of trace elements, vitamins and minerals, should be used to stimulate and support the natural immune defences and speed up recovery.
Active chemical filter media should be removed during the use of eSHa 2000, including activated carbon media, UV sterilisers and oxidisers, to prevent negative influences on the action of the treatment.
eSHa 2000 can also be used as a disinfectant for fish, plants and equipment before they are added to the aquarium, to help hatch eggs and protect fry as they grow and to treat successive infection from poor water quality or weakened immune systems.
