The Pro Rep Red Night Spotlamp is designed for nocturnal reptile species, creating a local light and radiant heat source to promote ideal ambient air temperature and natural basking thermo-regulatory behaviour.
Ideal for stimulating the natural environment of nocturnal (awake during the night) reptiles, such as Leopard Geckos, to mimic the natural retained daytime heat they would appreciate in the wild.
The lamp should be mounted directly above the basking site approximately 1/3 from one end of the vivarium to create a natural temperature gradient.
